Liverpool XI v Everton announced: Origi & Henderson start

Jurgen Klopp has picked a strong XI today for the 233rd Merseyside Derby.

Alisson obviously begins between the sticks, with Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back following his hat-trick of midweek assists v Watford.

Andy Robertson is the automatic choice on the other side, with Virgil van Dijk partnering Joel Matip in the middle. We’ve kept four clean-sheets in a row in all competitions.

Fabinho, Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson make up the midfield, with the boss deciding to leave Naby Keita on the bench again, alongside James Milner.

Up top, Roberto Firmino wasn’t deemed ready to start, with Divock Origi keeping his spot following his performance on Wednesday.

We reckon he’ll begin on the left, with Mo Salah right and Sadio Mane, who got two against Watford, in the middle.
