Mark Clattenburg admits which club he supports; it’ll shock EFC fans

Mark Clattenburg has finally confirmed which Premier League club he supports and it’ll come as a surprise to Everton fans.

The referee controversially awarded Liverpool two second half penalties against the Ev in 2007, which allowed us to turn the game around from 1-0 down to 2-1 in our favour.

Jamie Carragher later appeared to foul Joleon Lescott in the Reds’ box – but claims for a spot-kick were waved away by Clattenburg.

That day, 12 years ago, is just one of the many examples the far superior Blues have had the short end of the stick because employees of the FA and Premier League are all Liverpool fans.

🙄

Clattenburg took to Twitter to respond to a fan’s question – ‘what’s you favourite team?’ and the referee admitted it’s Newcastle United.

Maybe he’s just a big fan of Rafa Benitez!

The former Liverpool boss was certainly a fan of his performance in the aforementioned 2007 derby. “People talk about a penalty they could have had. But last season we lost here 3-0, two of their goals were fouls and nobody complained then,” said Rafa – as per Anfield Online.

I felt both penalty decisions were right. And I also agree with the yellow card for Kuyt and not a red.”
