Klopp issues rallying war cry ahead of Chelsea clash

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged fans and players to use ‘ever fibre’ to get over the line this weekend against Chelsea.

We are now two points clear of title rivals Manchester City, but the Citizens will have played their extra fixture vs. Crystal Palace by the time we kick-off.

Hopefully Palace can do us a favour; they’ve already given City some problems earlier this season.

The opponent is so strong and in a good moment. I want us all in a real fighting mood,” Klopp is quoted as saying by the Express.

All at Anfield and whoever is in front of the television, in a proper aggressive, fighting mood. Go for whatever we can go for.”

If you take a 400m metre race they are all together. After 200m there are a few more all together.

“At 300m two are together and in the last 100m you go with all you have. In the last last part of the season we have to use everything we have.”

Big fan of the racing analogy, Jurgen!

Klopp also urged his Liverpool side to make them fear them.

Chelsea is in a good moment, so from the first second of the game we have to be a completely different opponent to all the others they have faced in recent weeks,” he added.

This is arguably the toughest league fixture we have left, and this Chelsea side is not exactly a difficult opponent away to other big sides. It’s possible, even probable, that the Reds take maximum points.
