Reported Liverpool target Thorgan Hazard has confirmed that he has an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to join the club.
The younger brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard is plying his trade at Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach and has been subject of several transfer rumours recently.
Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad reported that the Reds had submitted an offer for the winger, but that he favours a move to the Black and Yellows.
It now seems that these rumours can come to a halt as young Hazard has admitted he has an agreement to join Dortmund.
“I have a personal agreement with Borussia Dortmund,” he explained to broadcaster VTM Nieuws – as per Inside Futbol.
“I have talked to them,” he continued. “It is now between the clubs. It takes time. They are in talks.”
Gladbach reportedly want around £30million for their talisman and he’d be a big boost for Jurgen Klopp’s former side next season.
Lucien Favre’s men look set to miss out on the Bundesliga title after a relentless Bayern Munich climbed the table in the second half of the season.
With older brother Eden looking as if he may join up with Real Madrid – it begs the question if Chelsea may put in a last-minute attempt to replace one Hazard with another.
That being said, their transfer ban will make that difficult in the mean time.
