From one assist-king to another!
Cesc Fabregas, the legendary playmaker now of AS Monaco, sent out a brilliant tweet about Trent Alexander-Arnold last night – after the right-back’s beautiful assist for our winning goal.
Liverpool’s 20-year-old ‘defender’ put in a sensational performance last night down our flank, demonstrating that his right-peg is as good as any in Europe!
Fabregas stated that Liverpool’s fourth goal was not down to sloppy Barca defending, but the ‘pure intelligence and vision’ of Trent.
Alexander-Arnold, 20 years old. People will tell me it’s bad defending, I’m telling you it’s pure intelligence and vision.

Right now, we can’t think of a better right-back in world football than our young Scouser.
This season, he’s registered 15 assists in all competitions – a jaw-dropping return from an attacker – let alone a fullback!
What’s more, he isn’t even 21 yet and has only been consistently in our first-team for a season and a half.
Now it’s time for Trent to go and collect his first piece of silverware as a Red. There’s a slim chance we’ll win the title on Sunday, but a slightly bigger one of us securing the European Cup on June 1.
