Incredibly, Naby Keïta is among those named and has joined his fellow Reds as they jetted off from John Lennon Airport on Monday afternoon.
The Guinea international suffered a serious groin injury in the first leg semi-final against Barcelona, which was thought to be season-ending.
According to the Echo’s James Pearce, Klopp wants to keep Keïta involved with the team spirit, but will be completing his own rehabilitation programme away from the rest of the side. It’s still too early to say whether the 24-year-old will be able to feature in Madrid, however.
If he does manage to recover it might mean he is also fit to join up with his national side for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (something the Guinea manager had already alluded to).
Over the next week or so, Jürgen Klopp will be putting the lads through their paces on the sunsoaked shores of the Costa del Sol as they get ready for the showpiece showdown against Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.
Training camp squad is as follows:
Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Brewster, Fabinho, Firmino, Gomez, Henderson, Jones, Keita, Kelleher, Lallana, Lovren, Mane, Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Moreno, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson, Salah, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Woodburn.
