In the blazing sun of Madrid, Reds and Tottenham Hotspur fans have descended on the Spanish capital as both teams contest the Champions League final on Saturday night.
While they’ll be competitors on the night, footage has emerged – the day before the final – of both sets of supporters joining together to chant about their main respective rivals.
Spurs fans start, singing “if you hate Arsenal sit down”, before Reds get to their feet and launch into a classic, full-voice chant of “Oh Manchester is full of shit”.
It’s heartening to see opposition fans getting along out in Madrid, rather than the ugly scenes we’ve seen in other competitions between certain sections of other fanbases.
Regardless of this kind of moment, once the whistle blows tomorrow night every Red will be on their feet solely to get Jürgen Klopp and the lads over the line at the Estadio Metropolitano.
