Sunday saw the Reds victoriously return from Madrid with our sixth Champions League trophy, with Jürgen Klopp and his winning side parading Ol’ Big Ears through Liverpool.
Now, footage has emerged of some jubilant Sadio Mané fans – bearing a congratulatory flag from the ‘Senegalese Association of Liverpool’ – singing a chant for the Senegalese star replete with drums and a simple, but effective, lyrical style.
The rhythm is perfect and we love seeing fans showing their love for Mané, who fully-deserves all the appreciation he gets.
“Sadio Mané, Sadio Mané, Sadio Mané, Liverpool!” goes the chant, as the songsters were surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Reds lining the streets of the the city.
Mané scored 26 goals this season and is set to join up with his Senegal national teammates when the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on Friday 21st June.
