Neville brazenly responds to “Man City or Liverpool” ultimatum

Gary Neville has claimed he’s sick of hearing about Liverpool and Manchester City when he took part in the EFL’s quick-fire question round.

Answering a series of rapid posers, one in particular got Neville’s hackles up.

When asked who he prefers out of Man City of Liverpool he removed his microphone, threw his sheet in the air and said: “Get rid of them. Not answering that one; none of them, I’m sick of them.”

He’s right to be sick of us – we’re absolutely massive and Neville must be sick to the back teeth of hearing about us winning the Champions League and achieving a huge 97 point finish in the Premier League.

It’s an easy question really, Gary!

After finishing a single point behind City in the league and tasting European glory, the Reds have had a stunning season just gone and we’re glad he’s not happy about it.

Manchester United had a forgettable campaign, with both his former side’s rivals finishing over 30 points ahead of them in the top-flight.

Neville’s rancour is a testament to the Reds’ revitalised success under Jürgen Klopp and also demonstrates the depths United have fallen to that they’re nowhere near our levels at the moment.

Must be hard for him, but we’re obviously loving it!
