Borussia Dortmund want to make LFC goalscorer their next Jadon Sancho

Bobby Duncan scored Liverpool’s final goal in the 6-0 rout of Tranmere last night, and this morning, has been linked with Borussia Dortmund.

The Daily Mail says multiple clubs in Germany, most notably Borrusia Dortmund, are keen on our 18-year-old, who scored in the final of our FA Youth Cup triumph last season.

However, in a bid to encourage Duncan to stay, Jurgen Klopp will use him regularly throughout pre-season – as he displayed yesterday evening.

Duncan’s goal was his first senior effort – and we hope to see plenty more throughout the summer.

Last term, he notched over 30 times for the U18s, and will surely be a starter for the U23s in 2019/20.

If he’s performing admirably, perhaps a Championship loan could be on the cards in January, but it all depends on the rate of his development.

Duncan has a sweet left-foot, is tenacious and has strength that belies his small stature.

His talent, and the fact he’s not only a scouser and huge Liverpool fan, but Steven Gerrard’s cousin, means we’re all rooting for him to make the Anfield grade!
