Liverpool keen on signing Turkish winger and immediately loaning him back – report

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Trabzonspor winger Abdulkadir Omur and loaning him straight back to his current club, according to Fanatik – via Sport Witness.

The starlet, who turned 20 last month, has caught the eye of several European clubs including Roma and the Reds, as per Inside Futbol.

According to the Fanatik report, Liverpool officials are unsure about how easily it would be to get Omur a working permit to play for the club.

The Reds’ thinking is that loaning him back to Trabzonspor can do two purposes – it’ll mean he gets more first team football and can give the club more time to sort out a work permit.

If the Turkish outfit are resigned to losing their starlet then they may well agree to this apparent deal, but if they’re desperate to keep on to him then they may be somewhat less keen.

It’s unclear what the Reds would be willing to splash on the youngster, and Trabzonspor haven’t given any indication on what it’d take to prise him from them.

As per the same report, Omur has a contract with the Turkish club that would keep him there until 2022, but a deal that may keep the youngster at the club for another year may tempt them.
