The teenage winger comes to Anfield off the back of three senior appearances for the Cottagers last season, one of which made him the youngest debutant in Premier League history.

Aged just 16 years and 30 days, Elliott entered the fray against Wolves in May to set the record.

Elliott will be part of Jürgen Klopp’s squad for the friendly against Napoli at Murrayfield before travelling with the Reds to the training camp in Evian.

We’re certainly excited that the deal has finally been annouced and look forward to seeing what the teenage prospect can offer in the coming weeks.

In an Instagram post, Elliott confirmed that he is in fact a childhood Reds fan, which makes the move all the more special.

Having now secured his services, Klopp will eager to see just how high Elliott’s ceiling is as he nurtures his development at Anfield.
