Liverpool superstar promises to stop at nothing to win more trophies

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has recently re-joined the Reds at their training camp in Evian, and has talked up the upcoming season and potential silverware.

The stopper got a taste for winning last season as his first season at Anfield saw Liverpool lift the Champions League title, and the Brazilian national team went on to win the Copa America over the summer.

Alisson has linked up with the squad in France along with stars Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino after the trio enjoyed extended breaks because of their national team obligations.

Liverpool’s number 1 has promised Liverpool fans that he – and the rest of the squad – will stop at nothing to bring supporters more silverware.

[As a team] we are excited, but we have to keep our feet on the ground, just as we did last season. We want to try for everything this season, so we need to work,he told the club’s official site.

The level of the football is high and similar at every club, so we need to work hard to [do] the same things and achieve even more this season.

To win two titles [for Liverpool and Brazil], two big titles, during the season was great for me. I hope this season – and I will work this season – to make it more.

Alisson is definitely saying all the right things – and it’s hard to disagree with how the Reds will need to keep up the high-intensity football for the upcoming season to compete.

Seemingly all of our rivals have added new players to their senior squad; there’s even talk of Manchester United bringing in Juventus’ Paulo Dybala!

But Liverpool have a young squad and will surely be even stronger next season – with out without any new faces.

I feel the warmth from the people,” Alisson continued. “Last season was special for us, for everyone – for me, for the fans, for my family and for the team – so I am looking forward to what we can do in this next season.

We will work hard now to get ready quickly for the next games.
