There’s nothing more annoying than fans who claim a player is ‘great’ or ‘terrible’ based on their pre-conceived ideas rather than what is literally happening in front of them.
We remember last season that those with vendettas against Jordan Henderson, for example, would claim he was ‘average’ on nights he was literally integral to European wins.

And on Wednesday night, it happened again on Twitter with some blindfolded Reds suggesting Adam Lallana was poor in the no.6 role against Lyon.
He absolutely wasn’t. He was excellent. The criticism around Lallana being injury prone is entirely fair, and it’s also ok to question his productivity, or lack of it, in attacking midfield when it comes to goals/assists.
