Liverpool cantered to a 4-1 victory over Norwich tonight, thanks to a rampant first-half onslaught.
Goals from Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Divock Origi added to an own goal, with the Canaries getting one back in the 2nd-half.
But with the result sealed early on, most of the fan consideration regarded Alisson’s weird injury.
The Brazillian was simply clearing a ball, but went down and was subbed for new signing Adrian.
Thankfully, journalist Dave Maddock, has claimed the injury doesn’t look too bad – based on the reactions of the LFC bench.
Bet Simon Mignolet put his foot through the tv back in Belgium. Waited 18 months on the bench, and first league game he's missing…! #LFC don't seem unduly concerned at this stage over Alisson.

Here’s hoping, anyway.
Alisson is maybe the best keeper on the planet, and although Adrian didn’t have much to do on his debut, the Spaniard is a significant level below our starting stopper.
Hopefully Maddock is spot on and Alisson will be back very soon – although we’d be surprised to see him next week in the Super Cup.
