It’s the first season of VAR in the Premier League and it’s only taken the second game for something controversial to happen.
Manchester City went on to win the fixture against West Ham with ease, by putting five past them, but they thought that had a third early on.

Sergio Aguero put the ball in the net, but Raheem Sterling was adjudged to be in an offside position by VAR. It’ll be interesting to see if it provides more crucial decisions throughout the season.
