Nobody was claiming Aaron Wan-Bissaka was as good as Trent Alexander-Arnold last season when he played for Crystal Palace, so why after two games for Manchester United, which featured a win against Chelsea and a draw v Wolves, is the comparison even being made?
We could the same about Harry Maguire, actually.
And former Arsenal striker Ian Wright agrees with us. He shot down a claim from a United fan account which suggested Wan-Bissaka is a more consistent creator than Trent, which is pretty absurd considering the fact our right-back is maybe the best crosser of a ball in the country and has technical skills which could rival a top midfielder.
Don't do this guys. We can't compare them! TAA as UCL winning RB with 12 PL assists last season. Let's give AWB the time and space to develop 🙏🏾

Wan-Bissaka is good, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. When he reaches back to back Champions League Finals, we’ll allow a conversation – or perhaps when he registers assists in five consecutive Premier League matches.
But we’re actually content with United fans hyping their players right now. Let’s see what happens over Christmas when the wheels fall off again!
