Liverpool fans are renowned for their presence during a football match, especially when competing in European competitions at Anfield.
Club legend Steven Gerrard had a few iconic songs that the Kop would belt out on match days, but none more recognisable than “Ste Gerrard, Gerrard, he’s big and he’s f*cking hard”.
Well – when the Reds hosted Napoli at Anfeld in the Europa League in 2010, Gerrard inspired a comeback.
The captain was introduced in the second half and bagged a hat-trick before time to make sure Liverpool took all the spoils on the night with a 3-1 score-line.
The fans were ecstatic and they let Gerrard know as they belted out the best rendition of the Gerrard song we’ve ever heard.
