Reds winger Ryan Kent, who spent last season on loan at Rangers with Steven Gerrard, could be set to make a move away from Anfield at last with Club Brugge keen on acquiring him.
Kent has been linked with a switch all summer long, but the Reds would only complete a permanent transfer, and Rangers could not afford to meet the asking price of around £12 million.
It is unclear for now how much Brugge would be prepared to pay, but their financial situation is certainly stronger than Rangers’.
There could be another departure at #LFC today. Club Brugge among clubs keen on Ryan Kent. Liverpool want a permanent deal, not a loan.

Unlike with Harry Wilson, Jurgen Klopp was unprepared to allow Kent another temporary move, and it was looking like he might have to stay put, which would have made no sense for either party involved.
A move away for the 22-year-old, who started for the U23s against Tottenham in their first game of the season but has not been seen since, is exactly what he needs to take the next step in his career.
Hopefully, this deal can come off for him and he can get back to playing football again.
