Sarri furious Emre Can still at Juve following Champions League squad dumping

Rather than feeling any sympathy for Emre Can following his decision to leave him out of Juventus’s Champions League squad, manager Maurizio Sarri is simply furious the German is still at the club!

According to the Daily Mail, the ex-Chelsea boss is angry with sporting director Fabio Paratici for not selling Can before the closure of the Italian transfer window.

This will be the latest blow for Can, whose Serie A dream is turning into a nightmare.

Being left out of the Champions League squad will have been embarrassing for a 26-year-old meant to be in his prime – especially when the likes of Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi were included.

But to know Sarri wants him nowhere near the squad will hurt even more.

As a result, we can only imagine Can will be either sold or loaned during the January transfer window.

We wouldn’t have him back at Liverpool. He’s a good player, but not an upgrade on anything we’ve already got – and is lightyears behind the world-class Fabinho in the holding role.

At EOTK, we wish Can luck and hope he gets his career back on track. His goal against Watford will live forever in the memory, but his decision not to renew terms is looking a poor one.
