There was a time when very few football fans knew about Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese winger originally came to Europe to join French outfit Metz, but the Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg smartly snapped him up and he plundered 45 goals in 87 appearances between 2012 and 2015.
Southampton then took him to the Premier League, and as we know, the rest is history!
This though is the first time we’ve seen Mane’s clips from Salzburg. Clearly, he’s a class above his opponents on multiple levels.
We face Salzburg, who are also a former club of Naby Keita, in the Champions League Group Stages – and they shouldn’t be underestimated.
They play very good football and will cause us problems, especially at their own place.
