Ki-Jana Hoever made it 2-0 to Liverpool this evening with a bullet header which gave the MK Dons keeper zero chance.
The young Dutchman started at right-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold rested, and ghosted into the box to slam a header into the net in the second-half and essentially seal the game.
James Milner put a lovely ball into the area after being released by the underwhelming Adam Lallana, and Hoever did something reminiscent of his countryman Virgil van Dijk!
Hoever can also play at centre-back, but it won’t be long before he’s providing Trent genuine competition at fullback.
What a way to mark your first start for Liverpool! 🔥
