Nicolas Pepe hasn’t exactly his the ground running at Arsenal just yet. No doubt the lad has bags of talent, but he’s hardly been the revelation some fans had expected.
The winger has a goal and one assist in seven Premier League games. To put things into perspective; Trent has a couple of assists and has found the back of the net himself.
Some Liverpool fans were begging for the Reds to sign Pepe over the summer, as if it was crucial to our season.

Now – we are only seven games into the season, but the Reds have won every game, and Arsenal sit fourth with three draws to their name.
Daily Mirror journalist David Maddock points out on Twitter that some Liverpool fans were wrong to doubt Klopp – and he’s absolutely right.
All those #LFC 'experts' now, after they went ballistic and predicted disaster in the summer, when Jurgen Klopp laughed at the idea of spending £70m on Nicolas Pépé: pic.twitter.com/ZXUjTBctr4

Off the back of winning the Champions League, you’d think some fans would have more faith in the boss.
Thing is, I think the transfer window has become something teams can win, but considering how often fans have suggested that Manchester United have won a transfer window, I’ll keep my faith in our boss.
Pepe will likely turn into a decent player for Arsenal – I’d certainly have liked him to rotate with Mo Salah at Anfield, but – right now – for £70million, he’s not showing that he’s worth it.
