Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was on England duty earlier this week, and some of the Three Lions’ were subject to racist abuse from the crowd.
Several football stars on social media have pointed the finger at the Bulgarian supporters, as England ran out 6-0 winners at in Sofia.
Feeling sorry for Bulgaria to be represented by such idiots in their stadium. Anyway.. 6-0 and we go back home, at least we did our job. Safe travel to our fans, u guys did well 🤟🏾❤️

Raheem Sterling, who put in a more than impressive performance, has perhaps been the most outspoken on Twitter, but the majority of the team had a pop.
Hendo was one of them, and while he doesn’t explicitly reference any racism, he says that he is disgusted by the behaviour of some of the crowd.
A measured response from the skipper, but it’s rare that he even Tweets at all so it just goes to show how this has irked him.
Absolutely disgusted to have witnessed the behaviour of some of the crowd tonight but so proud of every single one of our players and staff. We stand together. Thanks to all of our travelling fans for your support 🦁🦁🦁 pic.twitter.com/e8pchzO6tT
