Reported Reds target Jadon Sancho dropped by Borussia Dortmund ahead of crucial clash with Gladbach

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who has been linked with a move to the Reds over the last few weeks and months, has been dropped and fined by his current club this weekend having returned back late from England duty.

Sky Sports report that Sancho has been left out of the Dortmund squad to face Borussia Monchengladbach by manager Lucien Favre despite their opponents being the top side in the Bundesliga at the current time.

Favre explained that Sancho has great potential but still has a lot to learn following the incident. Sancho has been late for training previously, too. He was dropped to the U23s two seasons ago having repeatedly arrived late.

Those antics will be less than impressive for potential suitors, no matter how prodigious the winger is. Jurgen Klopp will not sign a player unless he believes he is completely suited to joining the group, and that he will not negatively impact the existing dynamic.

Links to Sancho will not go away, but the Reds will no doubt be acutely aware of this repeating offence.
