Manchester United legend Roy Keane has admitted that Liverpool “played like champions” against Spurs, in the Reds’ 12th consecutive win at Anfield in the Premier League.
It’s very rare for the former midfielder to say something nice about Liverpool, but I’ve got to give credit where it’s due – he’s given us quite the compliment there.

United fans aren’t likely to enjoy these words from one of their greats, but he’s simply saying what we’re all thinking – and he’s never been shy of voicing his thoughts.
The Reds are now six points clear at the top of the Premier League table, after ten games, and don’t really look like they’re slowing down any time soon.
We did stumble against Manchester United at Old Trafford, but that’s an anomaly of a game and it’s likely the sense of occasion got to the players as we’ve bounced back at Anfield.
Liverpool have now secured nine wins from the first ten games of the – that’s some serious form, and we’ve already played United, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea – we’ve got some of the most difficult games already out of the way.
Let’s hope Keane is spot on, and we continue to play like champions!
