Bayern boss admits they’re capable of only performing half as well as LFC

Bayern Munich manger Nico Kovac has stated that Liverpool are capable of going 200km/h, while the Bavarians are only capable of hitting 100km/h.

The Croatian boss isn’t happy with the effort he’s getting from his team, and has used the Reds as an example of what is simply out of touch for Bayern’s players.

You can not drive 200km/h with a car that only has a maximum of 100km/h on it,he told the media over the weekend (as per @Thiago_WRLD on Twitter).

The Bayern manager has faced some backlash for his comments, with some fans now posting messages with the hashtag #KovacOUT attached to it.

The Bavarians managed to record a 2-1 win over Union Berlin – a game they should win comfortably, especially at home, but they do find themselves only a point off league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.

Bayern managed to hit Spurs for seven when they travelled to London in what was an embarrassment to the whole Premier League so it’s not all bad for the Germans at the moment.

While it’s not ideal for Bayern or its fans, Kovac’s words are quite the compliment for Liverpool – their boss uses us as an example of what a high-performing team can play like.

The comment about only being able to go 100km/h on the Autobahn with Bayern while the Reds are capable of hitting 200km/h is just pure poetry.
