It was an extraordinary game for Liverpool at Villa Park as the Reds turned around a one-goal deficit to win it 2-1, thanks to Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane.
The hosts took the lead early on via Trezeguet, and Bobby Firmino thought he had levelled the score line at the half an hour mark, but his goal was [wrongly] ruled out for offside.
Robertson struck for Liverpool in the second half, after a barrage of attacks from the Reds. It was Mane who put the ball across beautifully and the Scot powered home with a header.
The Senegalese star would prove to be the hero for Jurgen Klopp as he turned in a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 95th minute.
The relief was unreal. After a game in which seemingly every decision was going against us, to get the goal that would secure three points was brilliant.

But nobody summed it up better than Reds legend Jamie Carragher who Tweeted two simple words after the game – “mentality monsters”, and he’s absolutely spot on. These players don’t know how to lose!
