Some Everton fans aren’t happy with Tony Bellew, after the staunch Blue praised Liverpool on social media following the Reds’ 3-1 win over Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s men thrashed the reigning Premier League champions, and the former pro boxer had nothing but nice things to say about them – which is very rare of him!
But it wasn’t just the players on the field that Bellew enjoyed, as he also complimented the commentary panel on Sky Sports.
The panel included Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany, former manager Jose Mourinho, Liverpool great Graeme Souness and Man United hero Roy Keane.
It was an interesting set of characters for a discussion on some controversial points, with Souness, Keane and Mourinho known for holding strong opinions and not being afraid to voice them.

But it was the players on the pitch that grabbed Bellew’s interest the most – after goals from Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The life-long Evertonian took to Twitter to praise the Reds and said you have to just say “well done la!”, but other Blue Noses are questioning why he’s giving Liverpool any praise, even though I do sense a little sarcasm!
Here’s some of the best responses to Tony’s Tweet:
Tony can't believe it in a month of Sundays. You must have been got at or your drunk. Once a blue. Remember. No middle ground. COYB.
