Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the news that Liverpool fans were dying to hear – Mohamed Salah is set to return against Napoli this week.

The superstar winger sat out the Reds last game in the Premier League against Crystal Palace, and was set to make a cameo at the end until we scored late.

The Egyptian has been carrying a slight injury for a few weeks now, and has benefited from the rest because the boss has tipped him to return against Napoli.

His ongoing ankle injury kept him from representing his home nation over the international break, but it now seems that he’s ready to get going again.

[Mo is] really good, [he] looked really good in training yesterday especially, after the game,he’s quoted as saying by This is Anfield.

Yesterday we didn’t do too much so we’ll see today, but I’m not worried about it.

Salah returning to the fold for the Reds will strike fear in the Napoli team who are without their own star man Lorenzo Insigne.

The Italian isn’t travelling with the squad, and will not feature at Anfield – and it provides Liverpool with a golden opportunity to claim all three points and effectively secure progression to the knockout stages.
