Last night’s Merseyside Derby was an emotional affair, following the conclusion of the recent court case regarding the Hillsborough disaster.
An Everton fan took to Twitter earlier in the week to say he was making a flag which he hoped both Liverpool and Blues fans would hold up together to show solidarity.
And, as the Scouse spirit would will it, it happened – Everton supporters held up their end as the flag crossed the police barrier and was held up on the other end by Reds fans.
