If that prospective fee is genuine, it’s a no-brainer.
The 24-year-old excelled at Anfield for Rb Salzburg against us this season, and wasn’t bad in Austria, either.
He’s the perfect age and can play in all the positions along the frontline – wide, centrally or as a no.10.
Considering the crazy fees players go for now, £7.25m makes Minamino basically risk free.
He’s also a superstar in the Far East, which opens us up to a new market, especially considering our already signed Nike kit deal.
