Liverpool team news confirmed: Klopp makes Henderson call as only two changes made from City win

Liverpool are set to welcome Manchester United to Anfield with only seven games left to go in what is proving to be a closely-fought title race.

The Red Devils will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the 5-0 demolition job Jurgen Klopp’s men delivered in Manchester and not slip too far away from the top four places in their bid to restore top European football to the Theatre of Dreams.

They’ll have to embark on that mission without the aid of star man Cristiano Ronaldo, who sadly misses out following the tragic loss of his newborn son.

Ahead of Alisson Becker in goal, Virgil van Dijk starts in the heart of the backline alongside Joel Matip.

In the middle of the park, Klopp has put his faith in a midfield trio comprised of Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson.

Finally, up top, Mo Salah holds on to his place with Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz also providing the firepower.
