Great news – Divock Origi has officially been passed fit to play in the Europa League final on Wednesday.

The Belgian striker has been sidelined since a horror tackle by Funes Mori in our 4-0 win against Everton in the Merseyside derby.

He trained in a full session with the squad on Monday, and according to the Echo will be named on the bench. It is assumed Daniel Sturridge will lead the line.

Jordan Henderson has also been fit and travelled to Switzerland as part of Klopp’s 22-man squad, but it is understood that he too will have to settle for a place among the subs. James Milner will once again be given the captain’s armband.

The Echo claim we will go with the same eleven who largely failed to impress in our 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield – though in their defence, they had probably been told not to over exert themselves and risk an injury.
