Why is Marko Grujic the world’s best player… during pre-season?!
The Serbian was tremendous in summer 2016, but barely got a sniff during his debut season due to injuries and Jurgen Klopp preferring more experienced options.
But during the first friendly of 2017, Grujic excelled against Tranmere in a 4-0 win – showing how easy he finds our practice games!
Marko Grujic sends his regards.

Liverpool though are desperately trying to sign Naby Keita, meaning our central midfield will be a very competitive area of the field if we acquire the Guinean or a viable alternative.
Grujic is now 21 and in truth, needs first-team football to aid his development. We’ll have League Cup and European football to contend with at the beginning of the season, but with Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, Emre Can, Adam Lallana, Coutinho and a likely new arrival fighting for three spots, it’ll still be hard for Grujic to feature.
Is a late loan deal a possibility…?
