The 25-year-old has been selected for Spain’s squad for the upcoming friendlies, just eight months before the World Cup begins.
He’ll compete with the excellent Jordi Alba for the left-back spot.

Moreno’s last cap was three years ago in 2014, before he was a Liverpool player, so this is testament to his enormous improvement.
This term, the defender has made Liverpool’s left-back position his own, despite Andrew Robertson signing for £10m in the summer and James Milner performing well there in 2016/17.
During the summer, there wasn’t a single Liverpool fan who saw this possible. Moreno had failed. He was a flop.
Now, he has the most assists in the Champions League and is one of the first names on our team-sheet!
Football’s a funny game.
