The game came just days after a reported incident between Bellamy and teammate John Arne Riise during a team building exercise, which ended with the Welshman swinging a golf club.
Thankfully, the punch up was quickly forgotten, as both players scored in a memorable 2-1 win over the holders. Liverpool would go onto reach the final of the competition later in the year, losing out to AC Milan.
