We were ‘lucky’ not to end up with 10 men after 10 minutes of play. We took the first chance that came our way brilliantly then sat back waiting for Man Utd. This time round Man Utd sat deep in their half not to give much space to Torres, and it worked.
Arguably, we fielded a very cautious squad with the clear intent of waiting for the opposition.

Howard webb did support Man-U undoubtedly but we should have done our job clear and clean.the team suffers heavily due to some fringe players Rafa classifies as first choices in likes of Insua and Lucas..the two games came through insua’s wing many opponents now knows how to deal with us and we dont seem to have proper wingers to change and chase games for us..i think Kuyt’s contribution on the wide area would depend on how quick and fast he gets ball as we all saw today his aerial delivery to the box that led to the goal..its so sad Aquilani cant play games on a run he either suffers virus,stomach bug and falls sick i m short of words..how could rafa have bought him in the first place when he realised his injury history..
Actually, according to laws of the game (if you wanna nit-pick) what Park did WAS a Dangerous PLay. YOU are not allowed to bring your head below your waist in a crowded area which is considered ‘Dangerous Play’ (just like a high foot). Buuuut, I can see why it wasn’t called.
