Yeah yeah, I know we didn’t play them, but the fact they lost in the CL to a “typical German” team. (I’m stretching the quote a little). It’s more pleasing to me than Chelsea losing, though I like them losing. But enough on them. It’s nice being one of the only two English teams left in Europe, even thought that shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Maybe this is the one step the club needs to save the season as I’ve heard so long.
Can some of us get off of Lucas’ backside? Yes he’s not the greatest CM the club has ever had, but you know what, he’s worthy of this club. And with owners who won’t give Rafa any money to get anything in, (we can debate his transfers all day long) Lucas is the best we’ll have right now. I’d love to have every player be as great as Torres and Stevie G, but that’s not happening right now.
Should I be scared of the Fulham match this weekend? They’re a very good club, and the fact that Clint Dempsey is over in England and doing well makes me happy as an American. He’d probably look very good at Anfield too. I really really hope that this is another match of 3-0 for Liverpool. But in reality it could end up 1-1, which would be good enough for me. It’s probably a preview of the Europy League final.

Oh and before I leave you for the week, Rafa is staying, so all these media rumors are rubbish. Of course, all of us know that, but our lovely media pundits want to talk about something to fill their precious space. Yeah so the club has had a difficult season, and yes they could have done better. However, it’s not Rafa’s fault, it’s those two idiot Americans. And where else would Rafa go? Real Madrid? Nah, that’s just a job to get fired at.
