I dunno how this new about Torres is bad news finally he will get chance to get the surgery he needs and could stay fit for a whole season. But then again it’s newspaper gossip, unsure why he doesn’t just take the eurostar through France and get down to Spain that way. But that’s just thoughts.
I think we need another central defender to support what we have now, I mean Carraghers great, but he’s not getting any younger so I can’t see him doing more than another season. So it’ll be Skrytl and Agger but having soto and another will put pressure on them so they aren’t guaranteed starting 11 selections.
And your right it’s going to be a long old summer. This season been one of the strangest I’ve witnessed for a long time and I doubt it will end untill the start of next season
I agree with steve. At leAst he gets the surgery he needs and the media will forget about him for a while. A full season with a fit torres would be fantastic.
It must seem like I’m saying we won’t miss him for the remainder of the season, I’m not saying that at all, we will and could do with him tomorrow night to ping a few in. But we’ve constantly got him 70% fit and then he takes another knock. We are still eating for a full season from Torres which we know he’d absolutly rampage through every defence as he has done in the past. But I’m not bothered if him gerrard or any of the others called up for international duty didn’t make the world cup to be honest as think it would put us in great stead for the next year.
I’m overjoyed to see the yanks on the way out but I still see how they will either lie or mess the sale process up and it has already started. Mainly the owners are looking to sell the club for around £800m according to sky sports news, now no matter how much I would like to say lfc is worth that amount it realistically isn’t, not many If any are. This over exaggerated price could throw potential buyers and leave us With the yanks or under the posseson of RBS which wouldn’t do us wonders, just gotta hope the new chairman and Christian purslow can help this go smoothly to the clubs benefit.
