I don’t see how cash + Hleb is a good deal. Tushar mentions the number of midfielders. I’ll go one step further and wonder exactly how many ‘attacking midfielders who like to play behind the striker but can be used out on the wing’ we actually need.
Hleb doesn’t offer us anything that we don’t already have access to, and that’s before you factor in that he’s 29 years old.
