MR) Lazar Markovic
The Serbian has found his game time reduced over the last few weeks, with Brendan Rodgers using both Jordon Ibe and Raheem Sterling in the wing-back role. With that in mind, he should get a start against Blackburn.
ML) Alberto Moreno
The youngster has played a lot of football recently, but it’s hard to see anyone taking his place. One possible solution would be to play Markovic on the left, but we think Rodgers will stick with Moreno to start with.
MC) Joe Allen
There should be plenty left in the tank for the Welshman after his slow start to the season. He’s been very impressive in the last few games, and will want to continue that upward trend in this game.
MC) Jordan Henderson
There’s been plenty of talk about Henderson’s future this week, with comparisons to Steven Gerrard and even an outrageous transfer rumour linking him with Barcelona. He just needs to keep his head down and keep delivering.
