How Liverpool must line-up on Wednesday, following Arsenal humbling

AM) Raheem Sterling

He’s played on the right, he’s played on the left and he’s played up front. Sterling’s best position however remains at the head of a midfield diamond. That’s just where we’ve put him, so he needs to prove what he can do here.

ST) Daniel Sturridge

Looked lively after coming off the bench against Arsenal, despite being on the way back from yet another injury. If he’s fit enough to start, then he should, he just needs more support that he got against the Gunners.

ST) Mario Balotelli

A surprise absentee from Saturday’s squad, reportedly the result of a slight injury. This is very much the last chance saloon for the Italian – we want to see him play with Sturridge – and he needs to grab the opportunity.
