Was Fernando Torres forced to walk away here?

However, the 31-year-old was apparently feeling a little awkward about the situation – and didn’t know whether his former teammates wanted him in this particular photo.

It’s actually hard not to feel sorry for the Spaniard, watching this.

The Spaniard enjoyed the best years of his career at Liverpool, scoring 81 goals in 142 games during three and a half years at the club, after which he joined Chelsea in a shock £50m move.

At the time, the switch was looked on as unforgivable by the vast majority of the Anfield faithful, who were aghast to see their star man leave for a domestic rival.

Time appeared to have healed old wounds, as Torres lined up alongside another former favourite Luis Suarez. However, he might just be feeling a little awkward about the whole thing still.
