Dossena made headlines after being arrested on suspicion of shoplifting according to reports.
Former Red Didi Hamann has posted a jibe on Twitter directed at another ex-Liverpool player – Andrea Dossena.
Dossena made headlines yesterday after it was reported by the Liverpool Echo that he had been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at luxury London store Harrods.
And in an unexpected blindside, Hamann posted a joke that many fans around the internet were already making…
Dossena been arrested for shop lifting at Harrods. He got away with stealing a living in Liverpool.

It later transpired, according to Dossena himself (via The Guardian), that he had forgotten to pay for a jar of honey and sliced meats at the expensive department store.
He was then stopped by security guards who called the police as a matter of protocol and due to a lack of identification he had to be taken to the nearest station where the matter was amicably resolved.
Granted, the Italian didn’t really do much during his time at Anfield – but he will likely always have a special place in Liverpool fans’ hearts for his exploits against Manchester United in 2009.
Dossena scored the final goal of the game, a spectacularly improvised lob over Edwin van der Sar in a 4-1 rout at Old Trafford.
He also managed a goal against Real Madrid in a memorable Champions League win.
