FSG review will see Brendan Rodgers keep Liverpool job
Liverpool XI consisting of Steven Gerrard’s most regular teammates
While some have suggested that Sunday’s awful defeat to Stoke should be the final game of his tenure, there are many that believe that his accomplishments – taking us closer to the Premier League title than we have ever been – mean that he has earned the right to dig us out of the hole we may be currently in.
As well as the league performance last year, it is not difficult to understand why the former Swansea boss is getting such support. Having lost our key player last summer in Luis Suarez, and his strike partner Daniel Sturridge to injury, the team still managed to reach the semi-finals of both domestic cup competitions, and will play in next year’s Europa League.
Here are some of the messages that have supported FSG’s decision to keep the manager:
I am by no means Rodgers’ biggest fan but the general Lfc fan reaction to this season has been way over the top.

#Rodgers is not the main problem for #LFC it is #FSG rigidly continuing with a failed strategy — Samei Huda (@SameiHuda) May 26, 2015
Rodgers understandably getting a lot of flak. Do I back him to turn us from also rans to challengers? Yes. Why? He’s done it before. #LFC

LFC please don’t get rid of Brendan he has been the best we have had in years — TaylorRhodes (@jilly121) May 26, 2015
I’d argue if LFC form malaise continues through pre-season then yes time to consider BR’s position – but am confident it won’t come to that

You see, tis easy for these so called Liverpool fans on these streets to blame everything on BR. @MacfordPeters @LFC — #TlatsiMan (@BucsKopite) May 26, 2015
I like many others had a total breakdown over Rodgers this weekend.. sorry Brendan #LFC Why don’t we all try and support the manager?
