Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson has been included in FIFA’s equivalent of the Premier League team of the season. The ever popular game series has been hand-picking the division’s best players all year long as part of their ‘Ultimate Team’ feature and they’ve since settled on this as the best overall squad – confirmed here by EA Sports.

Henderson has indeed enjoyed an excellent season, playing an incredible 60 times for club and country in all competitions and chipping in with eight goals and 14 assists. He captained Liverpool for much of the second-half of the season, after an injury to Steven Gerrard, and was one of the main catalysts behind our 13 game unbeaten Premier League run at the start of 2015.

Unfortunately, our No. 14 was the only Liverpool man to be included, despite the success of Philippe Coutinho, who was among the PFA Player of the Year nominees and won multiple club awards on Merseyside. Simon Mignolet is also likely to feel a little cheated after missing out to West Ham’s Adrian for one of the goalkeeping spots.
