The Spaniard scored 31 goals in 122 games for the Reds during a three-year spell at Anfield. He was also one of the heroes of our Champions League victory back in 2005, scoring the only goal in the semi-final win over Chelsea.
During his time with the club, he was christened with his own song: ‘Luis Garcia, he drinks Sangria…’, which was set to the tune of ‘You Are My Sunshine’.
And eager to remember his routes, the 36-year-old today posted this picture on social media website Twitter:

It’s not the first time that Garcia has made reference to his old song either. Earlier this year a video emerged of him singing it with a group of Liverpool supporters ahead of an Anfield Charity match.

The 36-year-old midfielder, who also starred for Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, last played Atletico de Kolkata during the 2014 Indian Super League season. It remains to be seen whether he’ll resign for another year.
