(Video) Ha! GOD chops Manchester United ‘Legend’ in Friendly match!

As if we didn’t all love Robbie Fowler enough already… The former Liverpool striker, who was captaining his side in a ‘legends’ (politely used term if you saw the lineup…) match against Manchester United in Stockholm last night, was clearly not taking the term ‘friendly’ all that seriously – as he cut down Bojan Djordjic.

Djordjic (no, we don’t remember that ‘legend’ either), didn’t react kindly to the challenge either, and gave Fowler an angry shove after the ball had gone. The 33-year-old, who is still playing for Chennaiyin in India, played twice for United’s first-team before leaving in 2004.

However, he was no match for the Anfield favourite, who crashed into him as if he was still playing in his prime.

Sadly, United were still able to secure the victory, winning the match 4-2. Vladimir Smicer had initially given the Reds the lead before our old rivals hit back through Karel Poborsky, Dwight Yorke, Bojan Djordjic and Jesper Blomqvist. David Thompson netted a late consolation, but it was Fowler who stole the show with this challenge!
