Brendan Rodgers has been sacked as Liverpool boss, but in the run up to the decision, some of the comments made by fans to a man who was giving his all to the role were downright disrespectful.
Now he’s gone, Liverpool supporters have shown class by thanking the Northern Irishman for his hard work over the past three seasons – and rightfully so.
Under Rodgers in 2013/14, Liverpool played the best football they’ve ever played in the Premier League era – but for whatever reasons – that team was dismantled and their replacements haven’t quite matched up.
